Dear HKBA Family,
I am honored to be a part of an academy that inspires and impacts youth both on and off the court. Although HKBA is experiencing rapid growth, our mission remains the same: To develop high-character student-athletes.
The joy of playing basketball is a small foothold into the mind of a child, and with that foothold, we use the game to teach camaraderie and lessons that benefit our youth long after the game ends. We believe that by elevating the quality of our coaching and organization, we can elevate the character of our players.
I am tremendously excited to execute this mission as the next Managing Director of HKBA. During my tenure, my focus will be, first and foremost, to create an environment where students can receive high-quality basketball coaching in a fun, inclusive, and safe environment. We intend to continue many of our more popular programs, such as the Premier League, while actively looking to diversify the type, locations, and format of our offerings. I will also work to expand our relationship with the community, including with venues, local businesses and potential sponsors, local schools, and with the Hong Kong fitness and sports community. Most importantly, I look forward to earning the trust of our students’ parents through actively seeking feedback and taking every opportunity to listen.
May we continue to grow and uplift each other as we pursue excellence in this sport.
