HKBA has been bringing out the best in student-athletes since 2011, and we are proud to be Hong Kong's very first academy for youth and teen basketball development. Through our low student-to-coach ratio, intense, structured - yet fun approach, we have coached and influenced the lives of over 5,000 talented boys and girls through our unique approach to basketball and character development. Our mission is to build a family around our passion for basketball, to develop high character student-athletes, and to elevate the level of basketball in Hong Kong ultimately — and where ever basketball lives.

Around The Academy

Dear HKBA-Family, we hope everyone is well and enjoying the holiday season. With government restrictions still in place, HKBA programs remain dormant until the reopening of LCSD indoor sports centres. We will continue to closely monitor the health situation and update you as soon as we receive further news. In the meantime, we wish to share with you a few improvements that’ll be rolled out in the new year.

Effective Coaching

The HKBA coaching philosophy is founded on the mission to develop the whole student-athlete. We are committed to instilling not only the skills but also the life-lessons and values such as character, teamwork, discipline, respect, sportsmanship, and work ethic. With a passion for the game, HKBA coaches bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in basketball playing at the highest levels in the NCAA and National Team.
