Girls Select Team

Tryout Time: 6pm-7pm (U14) 7pm-8pm (U18)
Tryout Location: Sun Yat Sen Sports Center

What is it?
Competitive girls youth basketball team with practices, scrimmages and games.
How do I join?

Boys Elite Team
What is it?
HKBA sponsored, competitive high level boys youth basketball team with practices, scrimmages and games.
The top 10 players of U13, U15 and U18 Premier League divisions. Carefully selected by the coaches to create an Elite team of committed players who will represent HKBA and compete in a local league and/or tournament. Selection is based on Fall season performance, attendance and coach-ability, and position played to craft the best possible team.
When is it?
Practices: Fridays, 4-8pm at Wong Chuk Hang Sports Center
December 31 morning or afternoon), January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25
*Additional practice dates may be added to accommodate the completion of the league*

How do I join?
Must participate in Premier League's 2021 Fall season and receive an invite to join.

From our Juniors to Advanced students - we encourage all players in HKBA to aspire to compete at the highest levels and be the best basketball player they are capable of becoming. We hope to continue raising the bar of youth basketball in Hong Kong as we take part in developing the next generation of athletes.
2018 Asia Pacific Youth Cup Champions
The HKBA U18 Elite boys claimed all-Asia champions in the 2018 Asia Pacific Youth Basketball Cup held in Singapore. Besting out sixteen teams from all across Asia; including powerhouses from China and the Philippines in the finals 66-56. Congratulations to the hardworking boys and diligent HKBA coaching staff for bringing home to Hong Kong and HKBA the honor of being the best U18 boys team in all of Asia. We are all so very proud of the team achievement - GO HKBA!
Girls Select Team
The HKBA Girls Select Team mission is to ensure opportunities for girls in Hong Kong looking to elevate their playing level through competing in a challenging basketball environment. The HKBA Girls Select Team is an excellent way for girls who love basketball to play with like-minded players, have fun and, experience team camaraderie through competitive basketball.
In conjunction with HKBA’s mission, our girls’ select team program emphasizes character and skill development, sportsmanship, healthy competition, and positive coaching.
